On the morning of June 12th, a grand ceremony for awarding scholarships to outstanding international students was jointly hosted by AIage and the Lao Embassy in Nanning, where scholarships were presented to 52 outstanding international students. Guests attending the ceremony included Dr. Kuang Zhong, a special research fellow of the China Health Care 50 People Forum, the president of the Longevity Engineering Branch of China Anti-Aging Promotion Association, and chairman of Aisheng Life; Luo Weifei, president of AIage; Chen Xiaodong, chief policy development officer; Zhu Yaohui, deputy director of the Human Resources and Administration Center; Vongpano SIPASEUTH, the General Consul of Laos in Nanning; Thipphakesone Philaphandeth, the Deputy Consul; and Li Wenhong, the Secretary of the Consulate, as well as the award-winning international students.
Dr. Kuang Zhong first congratulated the award-winning international students on behalf of AIage and expressed gratitude to the Lao Embassy in Nanning. In his speech, he affirmed the positive role of international students in scientific and technological innovation, emphasizing the close ties between AIage and Laos in research cooperation, talent cultivation, and technological development. He stated that in recent years, AIage has deepened exchanges and cooperation with Laos in fields such as longevity science and technology industry-academia-research collaboration, economic cooperation, and talent cultivation, and based on a common vision, facilitated the implementation of scholarship programs. In the future, we will take Laos as a demonstration area for the longevity industry, radiate the Southeast Asian market, promote the universalization of longevity science and technology, and assist in the development of regional public health services. We will continue to uphold the concept of "pioneers in longevity science and technology·creators of healthy evolution," with the goal of "global sharing of longevity technology," build an innovative chain of "basic research + technology breakthroughs + technological achievements transformation + talent support," create a new quality productivity practice base, and work hand in hand with Laos to promote more technological achievements transformation, deepen cooperation in the field of chronic disease prevention and control, and longevity science and technology!
In his speech, Consul General Vongpano SIPASEUTH expressed his heartfelt gratitude to AIage for its long-term efforts and practices in supporting and promoting the education of Lao students in Guangxi and other social activities such as sports competitions and cultural performances. The donation not only encourages and motivates the study of Lao students but also vividly practices the Strategic Cooperation Action Plan for the Community of Shared Future for China and Laos (2024-2028) signed by the top leaders of both countries in Beijing in October 2023. It also helps Laos cultivate experts in the medical field who can develop and apply modern technology. He hopes that the award-winning students will cherish this precious opportunity, study hard, repay society, and contribute their strength to the friendly exchanges between China and Laos. He stated that Laos attaches great importance to communication and cooperation with China, and this event has established a closer industrial-academic-research collaboration between Laos and AIage. With the cooperation with AIage, it is hoped to jointly build a high-tech advanced talent training plan, further enhance the exchanges between China and Laos, and promote cooperation in fields such as talent, economy, and market. In the future, the Consulate General of Laos in Nanning will continue to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with AIage, support and promote the cultivation of more high-quality, morally and intellectually competent scientific and technological talents, and provide a solid talent guarantee for the development of China and Laos. Subsequently, under the witness of the on-site guests, Dr. Kuang Zhong and Consul General Vongpano SIPASEUTH jointly awarded scholarships and certificates to the representatives of the excellent students.
