Recently, Professor Mikael Oliveberg, a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Nobel Prize judge, internationally renowned protein biophysicist, and lifelong professor at Stockholm University in Sweden, as well as Professor Chen Junqiang, Vice President & Party Committee Member of Guangxi Medical University, Director of the Key Laboratory for Basic Research on Accelerated Rehabilitation Surgery for Digestive Tract Tumors, and his research team visited AIage. Dr. Luo Weifei, President, Chief Technology Officer, and Chief Product Officer of AIage, Director & Chief Policy Development Officer Chen Xiaodong, and relevant team members accompanied them throughout the visit. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on basic research in aging biology and its translational applications.
Dr. Luo Weifei warmly welcomed the visit of Professor Mikael Oliveberg and his team: "We are very honored to receive Professor Mikael Oliveberg and his team, and we are also very grateful to Vice President Chen for recognizing and recommending the scientific research strength of AIage." This exchange provided us with a valuable showcase, allowing international top scholars to understand the basic situation and development history of AIage. Subsequently, Dr. Luo Weifei introduced in detail the research platform and directions of AIage's longevity technology. During the discussion session, Professor Mikael Oliveberg showed great interest in the research direction of gut microbiota in centenarians and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges with the research personnel on some issues.
During the exchange, Professor Mikael Oliveberg highly praised the systematic layout and scientific research progress of AIage in the field of longevity technology: "AIage's focus on the research direction of longevity technology has significant scientific significance. Especially your construction of the longevity cohort database and integrated analysis capabilities are impressive, providing a unique and powerful resource for solving the complex biological problem of aging, demonstrating unique scientific research value."
Professor Mikael Oliveberg's team visit not only allowed international top scholars to get a close look at the scientific research strength and development status of AIage in the longevity technology field, providing valuable scientific research information and cooperation opportunities for both parties, but also further laid a solid foundation for promoting academic cooperation, strengthening scientific research capability construction, and sharing technology.
