The base is jointly constructed by the Key Laboratory of modern anthropology, Ministry of education, Fudan University and Guangxi Aisheng life science and Technology Co., Ltd., and specially invited experts and scholars such as Li Hui, Wang Xiaofeng, Chen Gang, Professor of Fudan University Life Science College, etc. to provide technical guidance. The Key Laboratory of the Ministry of education of modern anthropology of Fudan University was established in 2005 and approved as the National Key Laboratory in 2008. In the evaluation of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of education in 2010, it ranked first among the 59 key laboratories of the Ministry of education in the field of life sciences in China and was rated as an excellent laboratory. In 2012, it was recognized as the "national international science and technology cooperation base".
